- P$
- A P$ (Prophet Dollar) is a play currency used at ProphetShares.
- All players receive a deposit of P$ when they sign up and create their ProphetShares account.
- P$ are used when buying and selling shares of Outcomes to make your predictions.
- Your P$ balance is available from your Dashboard.
- Your goal is to grow your account balance by amassing as many P$ as you can.
- There are numerous ways to earn P$:
- Gains from your predictions - selling shares for more than you bought them and owning shares of the correct Outcome when the Market is resolved
- Performing well in Contests. P$ are awarded to the top players in each Contest. A breakdown of how P$ are awarded is listed in the Payouts section on each Contest's details page.

- While P$ have no actual cash value, they can be exchanged for gift cards. More information on this can be found on the Prize Token Exchange, accessible from your Account menu.

- C$
- A C$ (Contest Dollar) is a play currency used exclusively for Contests at ProphetShares.
- C$ are used when making predictions in a Contest.
- All players start a Contest with the same amount of C$.
- When a Contest ends, your C$ balance is used to determine how well you did relative to all other players in that Contest. The player with the highest C$ balance will be awarded 1st place; the player with the second highest C$ balance will be awarded 2nd place, and so on.
- Each Contest balance applies to a single Contest. After your final Contest ranking has been determined, the C$ in that Contest are no longer used.
